In collaboration with the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, TestCovid.is, which is part of the Security Centre, has set up a rapid testing station at Reykjav\u00edkurvegur 76. The rapid testing station will be larger and will be able to handle up to 1,000 tests per day. It will be open daily from 8 am to 4 pm, and bookings are already open at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.testcovid.is\/is\/covid-test-hafnarfjordur\">Test for COVID-19<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/img_1459-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1459\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 2048px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 2048\/1366;\"><\/p>\n<h4><strong>76 Reykjavikurvegur is the new station in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Security Centre is one of the companies that operates rapid testing centres in the capital region, having conducted tens of thousands of rapid tests at three testing sites. The site at Reykjavikurvegur 76 is the fourth. These are so-called antigen rapid tests, and results are usually available within half an hour of the test being taken. The results of such tests are a requirement for all gatherings of 50 or more people during the current restrictions on public events.
