Applications or substantiated recommendations are invited, which the Cultural and Tourism Committee will consider when making its selection. <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/fridrik-dor-is-the-2021-artist-of-the-year-for-hafnarfjordur\/\">Fri\u00f0rik D\u00f3r J\u00f3nsson was the Artist in Residence of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in 2021.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/vidburdir-cirkus-2.png\" alt=\"Events-circus-2\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 417px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 417\/425;\" \/>Only artists with a permanent residence in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur are considered for allocation, based on their registered address for the last 12 months.
