\"ChristianKrist\u00edn Sigr\u00fan Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir has been appointed as the new Human Resources Manager for the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Krist\u00edn has a diverse range of professional experience in human resources in the public sector, the private sector, and as a consultant internationally.<\/p>\n

Krist\u00edn Sigr\u00fan holds a B.Ed. degree in Education and Pedagogy and an MA in Anthropology from Denmark, as well as a diploma in Strategic Human Resource Management. For the past year, she has worked as a Human Resources Specialist at EFLU and was previously with the City of Reykjav\u00edk, where she first served as a specialist and later as the HR Manager for the Service and Innovation Department. For six years prior to that, Krist\u00edn was a freelance management consultant, where she undertook assignments including acting as a HR manager for hire in the UK, Malta and elsewhere.<\/p>\n

The position of Human Resources Manager for the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur was advertised at the beginning of November, and a total of 20 applications were received. Krist\u00edn will start work at the earliest opportunity, or by the end of March at the latest.\u00a0<\/p>\n
