20 young people from diverse backgrounds were elected to the board. <\/h4>\n

The general meeting of the youth centre Hamarsins was held on the 16th.
\nlast December. Among the items on the agenda at the meeting was an election to the youth centre's board.

\nPeople from diverse backgrounds and with varied experience were elected to the board. 11 are new to the board.

The youth centres welcome everyone aged 16-25. <\/h4>\n

In Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, two youth centres operate. On the one hand Hamarin, activities for 16-25 year-olds<\/a> and on the other hand Music and Motor with activities for 13\u201325-year-olds<\/a> . The internal operations of the houses differ from one another but share the same values and are based on the principle that the young people are the driving force behind the work. The board's role is to organise the activities of both.
\nYouth centres, to enhance leisure activities
\nyoung people aged 16-25 and to advise on services for young people in
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The board shall safeguard the interests of all, regardless of race, colour,
\nsex, language, religion, opinions, nationality, origin, property, ancestry or other

The winter is off to a good start <\/h4>\n

The year is off to a good start for the youth centres and there are many ideas.
\nand many events already on the programme. It has been decided to work with
\na themed month, and January 2022 is dedicated to a green lifestyle under the title
\nGreen. February will be dedicated to relationships and sex under the title
\n,\u201dLove Month\" and sexologist Sigga D\u00f6gg will be taking part, among others.

\nwith an emphasis on education and information about, for example, the cultivation of the central nervous system and
