On this occasion, among other things... <strong>Free swimming<\/strong> for children and adults these days at \u00c1svallalaug, Su\u00f0urb\u00e6jarlaug and Sundh\u00f6ll Hafnarfjar\u00f0ar.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"right lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/fjarsjodsleit-um-hafnarfjord.jpg\" alt=\"A search for the Fjords of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 372px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 372\/279;\" \/>The health town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<\/strong>\u00a0in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/maggayr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Idea Bank<\/a> offers children and their families the chance to try a fun treasure hunt in their local area during the winter holidays, which has been put together by Margr\u00e9t \u00ddr Ingimarsd\u00f3ttir, a mother of two and a teacher at Hvaleyrarsk\u00f3li. The weather is good for various winter sports, and it's the perfect time to get out the snowmobiles, boards and skis and have a go on the nearest slope or <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/gonguski-run-to-the-tune\/\">the cross-country ski trails that have been laid out in \u00d3la Run T\u00fan and Hvaleyrarv\u00f6llur<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library<\/strong>\u00a0will be running an encryption workshop and all sorts of books for young and aspiring spies during the winter break. The Children's and Young People's Department welcomes primary school children, games will be available throughout the library, and Intrix will also be on hand from 6 p.m. on Tuesday with their virtual reality equipment, and you're welcome to come along and give it a go \u2013 the equipment is suitable for children aged 6 and over and is also great fun for mums and dads.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warehouse of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Folk Museum<\/strong> will be open during the winter holidays and you can take part in a fun and educational treasure hunt that leads the whole family around the museum, try being an archaeologist on the dig site or play old computer games such as Space Invaders and Super Mario Bros.
