Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur rises by 3 places between<br \/>\nyears in a key survey question that summarises the overall experience of a service<br \/>\nof the municipalities. Now holds 9 of 20 seats among the country's largest municipalities.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/v1a3090-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"V1A3090\" href=\"\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 2048px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 2048\/1366;\"><\/p>\n<h4>2019 was a record year for measurements.&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<p>The year 2019 continues to be a record year for measurements of residents' satisfaction.<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur improved in all areas, with significant improvements in 12 of the 13 areas. Then<br \/>\nenjoyed, among other things, services for families with children, nursery services and<br \/>\nService for disabled people has not been higher since measurements began. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is on a par with<br \/>\nother municipalities in four areas and above average in five areas that relate to<br \/>\noverall satisfaction with the municipality as a place to live, satisfaction with facilities<br \/>\nthe practice of sport in the municipality, satisfaction with how the municipality handles<br \/>\nCultural affairs, services for senior citizens in the municipality and planning<br \/>\nGenerally in the municipality. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<br \/>\nis below average when it comes to nursery services, waste collection services and<br \/>\nServices for disabled people.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Constantly<br \/>\nMore residents seem to be using smart solutions. <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Satisfaction with the service for senior citizens and how well<br \/>\nThe number of cases dealt with by the town's staff is increasing year on year. An ever-increasing number of<br \/>\nResidents appear to be using new and smart solutions on hafnarfjordur.is for self-service.<br \/>\nand the gathering of information on the web and on other municipal media. This is in keeping with<br \/>\nThe municipality's official web metrics. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur stands still in fifth place.<br \/>\nparticipated in the 2021 survey and decreased in six areas, of which three were significant.<br \/>\nfactors. Factors that decrease significantly between years are satisfaction with play and<br \/>\nthe town's primary school and satisfaction with the council's rubbish collection. Hopes<br \/>\nare intended to bring about plans for  <a href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/harmonisation-of-the-waste-collection-system-would-be-a-major-step-forward\/\" class=\"internal\">A coordinated waste collection system for the capital region<\/a>  and  <a href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/a-major-investment-in-nursery-provision-in-hafnarfjordur\/\" class=\"internal\">Specific measures for nursery school staff will lead to an increase in residents' satisfaction.<\/a> <\/p>\n<h4><strong>An opportunity for improvement presents itself <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Behind us are two very special years characterised by a pandemic.<br \/>\nand an emphasis on an undiminished core service with the attendant effects on daily operations. The years<br \/>\nhave both proved difficult for vulnerable groups and created new and different<br \/>\nchallenges and pressure on the council's largest staff groups. The future holds<br \/>\nchallenging tasks at the local level and measures aimed at<br \/>\nto bolster the town's foundations until its spirit and economy have regained their former strength. The largest<br \/>\nthe municipality's next project<br \/>\nWeeks, months and years are, among other things, dedicated to internal and external reconstruction, support and development.<br \/>\nOpportunities for improvement are apparent and, at present, work is under way, among other things.  <a href=\"https:\/\/betri-hafnarfjordur.betraisland.is\/group\/12597\">Shaping the vision and strategy for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur until 2035<\/a>. With the implementation, a great step is taken<br \/>\ntake steps to better connect all of the council's policies and create<br \/>\na clear vision developed in broad consultation with staff, residents,<br \/>\nof business life, town councillors and other stakeholders and interest groups. Clearer<br \/>\nlong-term vision and strategy and strategic plans with measurable<br \/>\nThe short-term objective is to respond even better to the residents' call for increased services.<br \/>\nand new services which in turn has a knock-on effect on their satisfaction. <\/p>\n<h4><strong>About the Gallup Poll<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Gallup conducts an annual service survey among the twenty largest<br \/>\nof the country's municipalities to survey satisfaction with services and make comparisons<br \/>\nthere, along with examining changes from previous measurements. Data collection took place<br \/>\nfrom 8 November 2021 to 12 January 2022. This is a multi-storey building.<br \/>\nA random sample of 18 years and older from the Gallup opinion panel. Data collection was ongoing.<br \/>\nuntil a specified number of responses was reached in each municipality. In<br \/>\nIn Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, 408 individuals responded to the survey. The results give a certain<br \/>\nA concept of residents' satisfaction with certain service aspects, regardless of whether the individual uses them.<br \/>\nwhether or not the service is seen. At the same time, information is obtained about service elements that are good<br \/>\nit would be to take a closer look.
