The singing competition for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's youth clubs was held at the town's cinema on 9 March.<\/p>\n

A group of young musicians took part and the competition was quite fierce, and the choice was anything but simple for the judges, the singer Klara \u00d3sk El\u00edasd\u00f3ttir, Andri \u00d3marsson, Cultural and Marketing Projects Manager for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, and Helena Gu\u00f0j\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir, a music teacher at Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0arsk\u00f3li.<\/p>\n

There was a great atmosphere in the house and it was lovely to get together again for an event like this, as last year the event was held online with no audience.<\/p>\n

The youth clubs of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur have held Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Singing Competition<\/strong> for many years. It gives teenagers the opportunity to perform and sing in front of their peers and townspeople. Winners Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Singing Competition<\/strong> earn a place in Samf\u00e9s singing competition<\/strong> which will be held at the end of April. Many of our finest musicians have made their debut in that competition. <\/p>\n

Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has two places in the Samf\u00e9s Song Contest, and so two songbirds were chosen in first place as representatives for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. It should be noted that the winner in Samf\u00e9s Singing Competition 2021<\/strong> It was Viktor\u00eda T\u00f3masd\u00f3ttir from Vitanum in L\u00e6kjarsk\u00f3li.<\/p>\n
