<\/p>\nHEIMA is being held for the seventh time in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur this evening, but the festival was first held on the last day of winter in 2014. No festival was held in 2020 and 2021, but now it is time for HEIMA 2022 \u2013 on the last day of winter, 20th April. The thirteen artists will each perform twice at the two different HEIMA houses in the town centre. This year, thirteen families are opening their living rooms in the heart of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. <\/p>\n

The HEIMA festival has established itself as a fun and unique music festival, offering a different experience and a greater sense of intimacy than concert-goers and artists are generally used to.As before, residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will open their homes in the town centre, and in each house, two different artists or bands will perform. The Free Church in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will also open its doors, as in previous years, for the HEIMA folk, and the stage at the B\u00e6jarb\u00ed\u00f3 will also be used, adding to the variety.<\/p>\n
There are thirteen artists, and they all perform twice in each of the HEIMA houses in the city centre. They are not all playing at the same time, so those who are most diligent about strolling between houses will see the most performances. The first HEIMA concerts begin at around 20:00. and the last ones finish at around 23:00. Radio 2 will be on site and will broadcast part of the programme. Gu\u00f0r\u00fan \u00c1rn\u00fd and Egill Rafnsson will then host the sing-along after-party at B\u00e6jarb\u00ed\u00f3, which starts at 23:15 and lasts for at least an hour.<\/p>\n
