In<br \/>\nUnder the agreement, the Hraunb\u00faa continue to commit to being involved in the planning and<br \/>\norganise the First of May in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and have supervision of the flag-raising and see<br \/>\nabout a flag bearer in the 17th of June parade. The agreement is intended to ensure continued<br \/>\na strong scouting programme in the town and making it easy for children and young people to take part in<br \/>\nthe job.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The agreement is valid until 31 December 2026.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/img_3804-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3804\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 2048px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 2048\/1366;\"><sup>The mayor, town representatives and representatives of the Hraunb\u00faa met this week at Hraunbyrgi.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/sup><\/p>\n<h4><strong>The conditions for a contribution are<br \/>\nbased on actual figures from recent years' operations <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur proposes<br \/>\na contribution towards part of the running costs of the scout centre<br \/>\nLava residents in accordance with the annual budget of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Premises for<br \/>\nOperating contributions are based on actual figures from previous years' operations. The Lava Dwellers<br \/>\ncommit to organising their social and leisure activities with equality<br \/>\nas a guiding principle, and to allocate a specific portion of the contribution to youth and young people's affairs.<br \/>\nincluding prevention matters. Hraunb\u00faar receive as their share all the income that the scout centre<br \/>\nand the campsite yield, and all costs and fees arising from them shall be paid.<br \/>\nits operations. These revenues are intended to strengthen the association and to<br \/>\nimprove the furnishings and the children's and youth work.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The campsite at V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan opens on 15 May. <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Scout Association Hraunb\u00faar manages the day-to-day running of the campsite.<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan: letting, cleaning and maintenance of the area. City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<br \/>\ndesignates a demarcated campsite for the activity, together with the on-site accommodation and<br \/>\nhas toilet and laundry facilities. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur municipality ensures that contributes to<br \/>\nthe development of the campsite. Upon the submission of the annual report and accounts, they shall<br \/>\nHraunb\u00faar provide statistics regarding the campsite and accommodation at Hraunbyrgi.
