Most walks take about an hour, participation is free and all are welcome. The walks are a collaboration between the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library, the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Folk Museum, Hafnarborg and Healthy Town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Please note that the programme is subject to change.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/menningar-og-heilsuganga-hus-i-hrauninu-1\/\">1st June at 20:00 \u2013 House in the Lava Field\u00a0<\/a> <strong><br \/><\/strong>J\u00f3natan Gar\u00f0arsson leads a walk to the first and third houses of Hreinn Fri\u00f0finnsson. Please note that this walk will take about two hours.\u00a0<em>The path from the Works, on the east side of the Aluminium Smelter.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/menningar-og-heilsuganga-alfaganga\/\">8th June at 8 p.m. \u2013 Aluminium Walk\u00a0<\/a> <\/strong><br \/>Silja Gunnarsd\u00f3ttir, owner of alfar.is, leads a walk along the paths of the elves and tells the stories of elves, dwarves and hidden folk along the way.\u00a0<em>The walk from Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Town Hall to Strandgata<\/em><em>you 6th.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/barnaganga-i-leit-ad-alfum\/\">15th June at 17:00 \u2013 Children's Walk\u00a0<\/a> <\/strong><br \/>Hildigunnur Sigvaldad\u00f3ttir leads the younger generation on an adventurous journey through art.\u00a0<em>A walk from Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library to Hellisger\u00f0i and back.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/soguganga-um-natturuna\/\">22nd June at 18:00 \u2013 Guided walk through nature\u00a0<\/a> <\/strong><br \/>J\u00f3natan Gar\u00f0arson leads a walk up Seldalsh\u00e1ls to St\u00f3rh\u00f6f\u00f0i.\u00a0<em>From the car park on the west side of Lake Hvaleyrarvatn (near Vogar)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/kringum-hamarinn\/\">29th June at 20:00 \u2013 Around the Hammer<\/a> <\/strong><br \/>\u00d3lafur \u00de. Har\u00f0arson leads a walk around the Hammer and talks about the history of schools and sports in the area.\u00a0<em>The Flensburg School Group.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/haha\/\">6th July at 8 p.m. \u2013 Ha ha around Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur\u00a0<\/a> <\/strong><br \/>Einar Sk\u00falason from Wappin leads visitors and passers-by along amusing trails in the South Town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, cracking out a selection of his favourite Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur jokes along the way.\u00a0\u00a0<em>From the Fir\u00f0i Shopping Centre\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"13th July at 20:00 - A meditation on elves, a walk and a guided tour\u00a0\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/hugleiding-um-alfa-ganga-og-syningarleidsogn\/\">13th July at 20:00 \u2013 A meditation on elves, a walk and a guided tour\u00a0<\/a><br \/>Brynd\u00eds Bj\u00f6rgvisd\u00f3ttir, writer, historian and folklorist, and Ald\u00eds Arnard\u00f3ttir, director of Hafnarborg, lead a walk where they explore thoughts on elves and creatures in the rocks.\u00a0<em>The walk from Hafnarborg ends with a guided tour of Gunnar Arnar Gunnarsson's exhibition at Hafnarborg.\u00a0<br \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"These good old days\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/thessir-gomlu-godu\/\">20th July at 19:30 \u2013 The Good Old Days\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On 20th July, Arnar Ragnarsson, a coach and youth worker, will lead this week's games and health walk. Arnar will walk with the group around the town and show and teach various games suitable for all age groups. The walk will start from the barbecue hut in V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0art\u00fan at 19:30. We especially encourage families to attend.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"27th July at 20:00 - Teenage Years in the South Town\u00a0\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/aeskuslodir-i-sudurbaenum\/\">27 July at 20:00 \u2013 Youth trails in the South Town\u00a0<\/a><br \/>Leifur Helgason leads a walk through his childhood haunts in the South Town.\u00a0<em>The walk from G\u00fatt\u00f3 (7 South Street).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Bus trip to Arnarvatn\" href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/buslaganga-ad-arnarvatni\/\">3rd August at 17:00 \u2013 A walk to Arnarvatn\u00a0<\/a><br \/>Dav\u00ed\u00f0 Arnar Stef\u00e1nsson is leading a walk to Arnarvatn.
