Kr\u00fdsuv\u00edkurkirkja received the Tidiness Honour Award.<\/sup><\/p>\n<h4><strong>People and businesses to emulate \u2013 awards presented at the end of summer&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The awards are intended to set a standard of excellence in the tidiness and presentation of grounds and gardens, in both residential and commercial areas. Through this initiative, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur aims to raise public interest in beautiful trees, the beautification of the local environment, and to draw attention to those who serve as an example in this field in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, thereby encouraging others to take similar action. It is important that residents and businesses are encouraged and rewarded for good upkeep and a tidy environment. Honour awards are then presented to those businesses and institutions that play a major role in the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur community. The Carmelite Monastery, Kr\u00fdsuv\u00edk Church, Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Cemetery, the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Forestry Association and the Keilir Golf Club are examples of organisations that have received the Snyrtileikinn honour in recent years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Awards presented at the end of the summer <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The 2022 awards will be presented at a ceremony at Thella Nursery on Kald\u00e1rselsveg at the end of the summer.
