12 Hverfisgata available for allocation as a transit house

The City of Hafnarfjörður is advertising a plot for allocation for a mobile home. The plot is for a detached house at Hverfisgata 12 and will be sold at a fixed price. Both individuals and legal entities may apply for the plot. The application must be accompanied by a description of the house to be moved onto the plot, and the planning officer for the City of Hafnarfjörður will assess the applications with regard to planning considerations.

• The maximum building size on a plot is 150 m².²
• The house shall be located within the building plot and has a maximum ground floor area of 70 m².²
• The utilisation rate is 0.66
• The maximum wall height from the street floor level is 320 cm.
• Roof pitch is 37°- 45°
• The total length of the flanges must not exceed 50% of the length of the long wall.
• The house shall be clad on the outside with corrugated iron or timber.
• Price is the minimum price for a detached house plot, now kr. 13,374,955, based on the construction index for July.
• The house must comply with the requirements of the conservation act.
• The house must comply with the conditions of the local planning regulations.
• The house must fit in well with its surroundings and be of a similar size to the neighbouring houses.
• The house must be removed, or there must be permission for its demolition in the current local plan for the area in which the house is situated.
• Historical justification must support the relocation of the house to this site.
• Payment for the plot is due 45 days after the town council's decision on allocation.

Application for a plot of land My Pages. An application form can be found under: Applications – Implementation and Planning – Residential Plot Application. Applications must be submitted via My Pages by the end of the day on Friday, 16 August 2019. Applications will be considered at the Town Council meeting on Thursday, 29 August.

• Information on the size of the base area
• Information about current location
• Drawings, plus a building history if available.
