The nurseries
The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður runs 17 nurseries, and in addition to these, there are two independently run nurseries in the town.
Nursery schools in Hafnarfjörður are not zoned, as they are based on different educational philosophies. It is important that parents choose the approach that they feel is best for their child and their own parenting values.
