Thirteen projects receive cultural grants
Grants from the Cultural and Tourist Board of Hafnarfjörður for projects and events were awarded at a ceremony held at the Hafnarfjörður Library yesterday, with thirteen projects receiving grants on this occasion. The total amount of grants in this allocation is 2.7 million, bringing the total amount of cultural grants distributed in 2021 to 11 million.

Projects that enrich and deepen the town's artistic life
The City of Hafnarfjörður awards cultural grants twice a year to individuals and projects likely to further enrich and deepen the city's artistic life. The allocation of grants is based on an assessment of applications, and cultural events, artists, associations or institutions applying for a grant must be connected to Hafnarfjörður in some way. This includes, for example, permanent residency, an event/project taking place in Hafnarfjörður, and/or a project involving the promotion of Hafnarfjörður's cultural activities.
