Goodbye, camping equipment – preparations for the upcoming school year begin next week.
The school term will soon be in full swing again and preparations for the upcoming school year begin next week. Owners of camping equipment located on school grounds are kindly requested to remove the equipment by last song on Sunday, 11th August.
Please remove the camping equipment by Sunday, 11th August at the latest.
The offer is valid until 11 August 2024.
The primary schools' car parks will be open for such equipment until Sunday, 11th August. On the morning of Monday, 12th August, all equipment must have been removed from all of the City of Hafnarfjörður's primary school grounds. Please be advised that there is no security or CCTV in the area, and all equipment remains entirely at the owners' own risk. This notice applies solely to equipment in active use over the summer period, and not to unregistered vehicles and equipment/gear that require year-round storage. Vehicles and equipment without number plates will be removed at the owners' expense.
