We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual for a summer job and occasional part-time work. Lækur is a sanctuary for individuals with mental health challenges. Lækur's aim is to reduce social isolation and improve quality of life. We are offering an exciting and rewarding role with a variety of tasks. We are seeking a summer cover for 80-100% full-time work, for the period 1st July - 15th August.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Engage visitors on their own terms / a varied project
• Reception of guests
• Other tasks as per the job description

Educational and competency requirements:

• Experience and interest in the subject area
• Imaginative
• Show initiative and positivity in communication and work.
• Interpersonal skills, initiative and a willingness to collaborate
• Icelandic proficiency A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

It is desirable that the person is 20 years of age, but a clean criminal record is a requirement.
