From 12 to 15 March, the focus will be on design in Hafnarfjörður. Hafnarborg, the Hafnarfjörður Icehouse and Litla Hönnunar Búðin are taking part in Design March, and the municipality of Hafnarfjörður wants to draw attention to the vibrant design scene in the town. Admission is free.

In a grey area Grey Area. An exhibition of new works by the Scottish designer David Taylor, which lie at the boundaries of design and fine art. He is known for his original designs and unconventional choice of materials, with a particular penchant for cheap and worthless materials such as concrete and gravel, which he then transforms into sophisticated objects.

Hafnarfjörður Museum of Municipal History – Evolution Walk
Saturday 14 March at 2 pm. A house tour with architect Páll V. Bjarnason about the unique features of Hafnarfjörður's architectural heritage. The tour starts at the Sívertsens-hús at Veturgata 6 and lasts for about an hour.
