Now in September, we are particularly calling on businesses in Hafnarfjörður to clean up their local surroundings. An overall clean appearance affects customer experience and trade.

Let's make use of the service – containers for timber and iron
From 15th to 20th October, managers and employees of businesses in Hafnarfjörður are encouraged to look at their immediate surroundings and to carry out a special clean-up on their premises.
Containers will be placed at three locations in Hafnarfjörður, primarily for the disposal of timber and iron from businesses in each respective area. The containers will be on site for two weeks – from Thursday, 15 September to Friday, 6 October. Companies are particularly encouraged to make use of this service provided by the town.
Hafnarfjörður municipality aims to improve the appearance of industrial areas.
