Grants for events and cultural projects

Menningar- og ferðamálanefnd Hafnarfjarðar auglýsir eftir umsóknum um styrki til verkefna, viðburða og samstarfssamninga á sviði menningar og lista í Hafnarfirði.  Umsóknum skal skila inn með rafrænum hætti til og með 17. febrúar 2019.

Tvisvar á ári auglýsir menningar- og ferðamálanefnd Hafnarfjarðar eftir umsóknum um styrki til menningarstarfsemi og eflingar á hafnfirsku menningarlífi. Markmiðið er að styðja við menningarstarfsemi í samræmi við menningarstefnu bæjarins og styrkja einstaklinga og félagasamtök til lista- og menningarsköpunar. Listamenn, félagasamtök, stofnanir eða menningarviðburðir verða að tengjast Hafnarfirði á einhvern hátt.  Með fastri búsetu, með því að viðburðurinn fari fram í Hafnarfirði eða feli í sér kynningu á menningarstarfsemi Hafnarfjarðar. Ekki er styrkt til ferðalaga, náms og rekstrar. Í umsókn þarf eftirfarandi að koma fram:

• Objectives, description and justification of the application
• Grant amount
• Time and Work Schedule
• Further funding
• Cost estimate

The Culture and Tourism Committee assesses applications based on the objectives of the projects and how they will be used to promote a diverse cultural life for the benefit of the town's residents and artists from Hafnarfjörður. Consideration is given to the feasibility of the projects, the cost estimate, as well as the timescale and work plan. A partnership agreement can be applied for in respect of longer-term or recurring projects for a period of up to three years.

The Culture- & tourism
committee of Hafnarfjörður advertises open grants for projects, events and
co-operation agreements in the field of culture and arts in Hafnarfjörður.

The aim is to promote cultural
activities and support individuals and organizations in accordance with the
cultural policy of the town.

The artists, organizations
and/or events need to have a connection to the town in one way or another. For
example as a resident, placing the event in Hafnarfjörður or promoting cultural
activities in the town.

Co-operation agreements and
events can last up to three years. Please note the grant does not support the
following: operating costs, travel- and educational costs.

Applications need to include
the following:

• Goal of the project, description and reason for
  application
• Amount applied for
• Project schedule
• Other means of funding, if applicable
• Estimated total cost of the project

Rada ds. kultury i turystki miasta
Hafnarfjörður ogłasza o możliwości składania podań na dotacje dotyczące projektów, wydarzeń
oraz współpracy w dziedzinie kultury i sztuki w Hafnarfjörður.

Celem jest
wspieranie działań kulturalnych zgodnie z polityką miasta oraz wzmocnienie
jednostek i organizacji w zakresie twórczości artystycznej i kulturalnej. Artyści,
organizacje, instytucje oraz wydarzenia kulturalne muszą w pewien sposób być
powiązane z miastem Hafnarfjörður. Przykładowo: mieć stałe zameldowanie w
Hafnarfjörður, wydarzenia muszą mieć miejsce w Hafnarfjörður lub przedstawiać
działania kulturalne miasta. Istnieje możliwość ubiegania się o umowę na okres
do trzech lat, na dłuższe bądź powtarzalne projekty. Podróże, kursy oraz koszty
działalności organizacyjnej nie będą dotowane.

powinno zawierać następujące informacje:

• Cell, description and motive of the account
• Grant amount
• Project plan and schedule
• Other costs
• Cost plan
