At the town council meeting on 6 February, it was resolved to advertise a proposal for a local plan amendment affecting the plot at Suðurgata 35b, in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. Furthermore, the proposal will be presented to neighbouring landowners.

At the town council meeting on 6 February, it was resolved to advertise a proposal for a local plan amendment affecting the plot at Suðurgata 35b, in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. Furthermore, the proposal will be presented to neighbouring landowners.

The alteration consists of a new building plot behind the existing house and permission to erect a one-storey extension with a loft. The total permitted building area on the plot shall be 160 m². In all other respects, the existing conditions shall apply.

The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Environmental and Planning Services, Norðurhellu 2, from 15 February to 29 March 2019. The detailed plan proposal can be viewed here:

Further information is available from the Environmental and Planning Service. Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the change. Comments should be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfjörður Municipality, no later than 29 March 2019.
