Temporary closure of ramps south of the Strandgata Bridge
On Tuesday, 14th April, the contractor will close the slip road from Strandgata to the Reykjanesbraut, south-west of the Strandgata bridge, due to roadworks. Both slip roads south of the Strandgata bridge will also be closed.

Diversion routes are via Krýsuvíkurveg, Ásbraut and Kaldárselsveg.
This closure will last until after the end of the month.
Information page on the Reykjanesbraut dualling project
The dualisation of the Reykjanesbraut through Hafnarfjörður is nearing completion. Construction work has already begun and is scheduled to continue until late autumn 2020. The project is a collaboration between the Road Administration and the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður.
