Let's take an active part and ensure a good sweep!
We ask residents to take an active part so that the results are as good as possible. It is essential that the streets are clear of cars on the day they are swept, so that the kerb edges can be swept. Residents and business staff can take the opportunity to sweep around their own premises. This will make the whole area look much tidier.
Zonal redistribution of suction
A work schedule is followed which involves sweeping all neighbourhoods between 16th April and 8th May. The schedule can be seen in the image below, and residents can use this to plan for the sweeping of their properties and immediate surroundings. The work plan is subject to change, primarily due to weather (frost) and delays with the contractor responsible for the sweeping. Each neighbourhood is posted the day before, announcing the sweeping for the following day.
