The group behind Vinabær has now broken ground on its future premises at Stuðlaskarði 2 in the Skarðshlíðarhverfi area. The Vinabær Operations Company is a limited company owned by six individuals and their families, whose purpose is to provide services to the residents of Vinabær. The company will be responsible for the construction of the building at Stuðlaskarði. The flats are scheduled to be ready in December 2021.

The six residents took the first spadeful of earth for a new building at Stuðlaskarði 2 in the Skarðshlíðar neighbourhood.
