Summer opening at the South Bay Pool from Sunday.

Summer opening hours at the South Pool will apply from Sunday 20 June. This summer the pool will be open until 10 pm on all weekdays and until 9 pm on Sundays instead of 5 pm. Saturday opening hours will remain unchanged, closing at 6 pm.

Increased opening in line with attendance and demand

New opening hours for the Suðurbæjarlaug swimming pool in Hafnarfjörður will come into effect on Sunday, 20th June, and will apply until Sunday, 8th August.  Thus, from next Sunday until Sunday, 8th August, the pool will be open from 6:30 am to 10 pm every weekday (except Fridays, when it is open until 8 pm), from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturdays, and from 8 am to 9 pm on Sundays. Increased access to swimming pools is among the priorities in Hafnarfjörður's recent Health Strategy and its action plan.
