The last few days have been heavy with snow in Hafnarfjörður, with the associated effects on road conditions and rubbish collection within the municipality. Rubbish collection is currently about two days behind schedule. If access to the bins is not clear, they will not be emptied until the next collection.

Residents are asked to clear snow from their refuse chutes to allow refuse collectors easy access to the grey and blue bins, ensuring they can be emptied on time. If access to the bins is not clear, they will not be emptied until the next collection.
