Hafnarfjörður Summer Job Scheme – open for applications for 14 to 17-year-olds
In the summer of 2022, young people aged 14–17 (born 2005–2008) will be offered work at the Hafnarfjörður Work School. The Work School primarily focuses on environmental matters, thus playing a major role in cleaning the town and maintaining its vegetation, streets and footpaths throughout the summer. The staff of the Work School play a vital role in creating the town's attractive appearance, ensuring it is clean and tidy, and not least, enjoyable for residents and the increasing number of tourists who visit.

The staff of the Work Club play the vital role of creating the town's welcoming appearance, ensuring it is clean and tidy, and not least, pleasant for residents and the increasing number of tourists who visit.

Application for a job at the Hafnarfjörður Work Camp
Applicants and guardians are asked to familiarise themselves with, among other things, the arrangements and rules of the Work Experience Programme before completing the application. The application deadline is 20 May. Applications will then begin to be processed. Applications will remain open throughout May and June, with the possibility of getting a job in the general groups. The work school's office is located in the youth centre.
