The Happiness Days continue to make their mark on Hafnarfjörður. Valdimar Guðmundsson will be singing in Hellisgerði this evening, and you can start your Saturday with some relaxation there. On Sunday, a literary programme takes over at the new library.
Happiness lives in Hafnarfjörður
Valdimar Guðmundsson takes to the stage in Hellisgerði at 8 pm this evening, accompanied by his accompanist. The Happiness Concert are part of the Happy Days of Hafnarfjörður and Helliskaffi in Hellisgerði will be open to visitors before and after the concerts.
Those who want to start the weekend on a different note can go to Shit-moral at the Town Cinema at 8 pm. Yes, this turn-of-the-century generation is still going strong.
Saturday 26th September – relaxation and Eyfi
Happy Yoga Nidra Starts at 12 noon in the meadow by Skúlaskeið in Hellisgerði. Kristjana Jökumsen from Hugur í hjarta will lead the session, where participants will have the opportunity to slow down and relax in the garden. This is also the last event of this year's Happiness Days.
Sunday 27 September – Guðrún Helgadóttir in the Frederik's Hall
FLUMBRA, the association of writers from Hafnarfjörður, invites to literary hour in Friðrikssal, Hafnarfjörður Library, from 1 pm to 3 pm. This time, Guðrún Helgadóttir, the poet laureate of Hafnarfjörður, is in the spotlight. Members of the society read from her works, including To Jón Oddi and Jón Bjarna, In the barn and Idiots. Admission is free.
