    • 09103117 – Hafnarfjörður Sports Association, review of the operating agreement

      A proposal has been submitted by the Hafnarfjörður Sports Association requesting a review of the operating agreement.

      The Sports and Leisure Committee instructs the Deputy Chair and the Sports Officer to begin negotiations with the ÍBH.

  • 0909158 – Sörli, expansion of the club facilities, fast-tracked implementation

    Tekin fyrir bókun framkvæmdaráðs frá 5. okt. s.l.%0D%0D“Tekið fyrir að nýju.%0DFramkvæmdaráð vísar erindinu til umsagnar hjá Fasteignafélaginu, ÍTH, Skipulags- og byggingarráði og eftirlitsnefndar um fjármál íþróttafélaga.”

    The Sports and Leisure Committee requests further information from the Riding Club Sörli in order to consider the application.

  • 0910618 – Citizen portal, subsidies for sports participation

    A sports representative provided an update on the progress regarding linking the subsidy for training fees to the citizen portal.

  • 09103124 – Hafnarfjörður Gymnastics Club, grant application

    A request from FH, dated 19th October, has been presented, requesting a grant for a youth dance at the society's 80th anniversary celebration.

    The Sports and Leisure Committee approves a grant of kr. 50,000 for the event and also requests a cost estimate for the dance.

    Lögð fram rannsóknin “Hagir og líðan barna í Hafnarfirði”, Niðurstöður rannsóknar meðal nemenda í 5.-7. bekk í grunnskólum Hafnarfjarðar árið 2009. Forstöðumaður æskulýðs- og tómstundamála fór yfir helstu niðurstöður. %0DEinnig lagt fram og kynntar niðurstöður úr rannsókn sem gerð var í febrúar 2009 varðandi vímuefnaneyslu ungs fólks í Hafnarfirði í 8. – 10. bekk í samanburði við lands- og höfðuborgarmeðaltöl. %0DRannsókn og greining framkvæmir rannsóknirnar.

  • Insider

    The Director of Youth and Leisure Services spoke about Innherji, a project where teenagers work part of the day for a company in return for a reduced school timetable. The project has been very successful and is an important resource for the primary schools.

    <P class=MsoNormal style=“MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt“The Sports and Leisure Committee wishes to emphasise the importance of the project and stresses that this effective resource is available to children and young people in Hafnarfjörður.

  • 0808271 – Ásinn/Mosinn youth centre, a pilot project with Year 4

    A project is being launched at Hraunvallar School in Mosfellsbær, offering after-school courses for Year 4 pupils. The project ran as a pilot scheme last winter at Áslandsskóli in Ás, and was very successful.
