• 0905237 – Plot for The Green Lagoon - the centre for sustainable living

  Siiri Christine Graupner presents her ideas for a sustainable house in the land of Hafnarfjörður to the committee. She is seeking to collaborate with the town on the project and to be allocated a plot of land for the venture.

  The Local Agenda 21 Environment Committee thanks Siiri for the presentation.;

• 0807072 – Reykjanes Nature Reserve, tourism opportunities

  Reynir Ingibergs from the Reykjanes National Park Committee comes and reviews the situation.

  The Environment Committee of Agenda 21 thanks Reynir for the presentation. A representative of the Independence Party wishes to record the following: It is interesting that the only member of the Reykjanes National Park Committee who does not receive a salary for their work is the representative of Hafnarfjörður.;

• 0702005 – Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður, power lines and substations.

  The preliminary assessment report by Efla Engineering Consultants, dated 6 May 2009, concerning the electricity transmission system in the hinterland of Hafnarfjörður was presented. The proposal is available at the following web addresses: www.sudvesturlinur.is; www.landsnet.is and www.efla.is. The Planning and Building Committee referred the matter on 26.05.2009 to the Environment Committee/Local Agenda 21 for comment. The deadline for comments is 02.07.2009. A notice of a presentation meeting by Landsnet and the engineering firm Efla on 05.06.2009 at Ásvellir was presented.

• 0905143 – Agenda 21, resolution on the working methods of the Environment Committee

  At the meeting of the Planning and Building Committee on 26/05/2009, the Director of the Department was instructed to present the matter at the next meeting of the Environment Committee/Local Agenda 21. The Director presents the terms of reference for the Environment Committee/Local Agenda 21 and the duties of staff from the Planning and Building Department in committees and boards. The terms of reference for the Environment Committee/Agenda 21, the rules of administration and the tasks of the Planning and Building Department, and the director's memorandum dated 02.06.2009 were presented. A breakdown of costs regarding the National Agenda 21 Conference was presented, as requested by Halldóra B. Jónsdóttir at the committee's meeting on 20 May 2009. The Director of the Department left the meeting after presenting the submitted documents.

  <DIV><DIV><DIV><DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>Vegna bókunnar fulltrúa sjálfstæðisflokksins á síðasta fundi Umhverfisnefndar sd21  20.maí s.l. Vilja fulltrúar Samfylkingarinnar í nefndinni bóka eftirfarandi.</FONT></DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>Gert er ráð fyrir að fundir í nefndinni séu boðaðir með minnst sólahrings fyrirvara. Það þýðir að fundur er boðaður á mánudagseftirmiðdegi eða snemma á þriðjudagsmorgni. Á þeim tíma var Bergur Ólafsson fulltrúi Sjálfstæðisflokksins í nefndinni og fékk hann fundarboð á þann fund. Varamaður hans Hallur Helgason hefði því átt að mæta í hans stað. Það liggur því fyrir, að ekki  var ekki gert ráð fyrir fulltrúa Sjálfstæðisflokksins í ferð sem farin var á landsráðstefnu std21.í Stykkishólmi, enda hafði þá verandi fulltrúi flokksins í nefndinni sagt að hann færi ekki í ferðina.</FONT></DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>Ásakanir sem fram koma í bókun fulltrúa Sjálstðisflokksins eiga því ekki við rök að styðjast. </FONT></DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>Guðinna Guðmundsdóttir</FONT></DIV><DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>Davíð Arnar Stefánsson</FONT></DIV><DIV dir=ltr> </DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>
