• 0903177 – Home and School - Nominations 2009

  A letter from the national organisation Home-School was presented, requesting nominations for the organisation's 2009 Parent Awards.

  Nominations are invited.;

• 0902071 – Primary School Curricula

  Haraldur Haraldsson, head teacher of Lækjarskóli, presented the school's curriculum.

• 0903174 – Survey of attitudes in the canteens of four primary schools, carried out for SS and the Hafnarfjörður School Office.

  Gudmundur Ragnar Ólafsson, Purchasing Manager, went over the results of the survey. In addition, the Director of Education presented the improvement plans for the respective schools and the SS.

  The Education Committee requests information on follow-up by the end of the school year.

• 0901065 – School calendars 2009-2010

  School calendars and the approval of the primary school parent councils for the 2009-2010 school year were presented.

  The Primary School Development Officer reviewed a summary of the primary schools' calendars for the 2009-2010 academic year.The Education Committee approves the proposed school calendars.
