      At a meeting of the Planning and Building Officer of Hafnarfjörður on 21 November 2018, it was approved to give local notice of a zoning plan amendment at Suðurhellu 8, in accordance with section 1 of the regulations on administrative procedures of the Planning and Building Officer of Hafnarfjörður. The changes were subject to a local consultation from 28 November 2018 to 2 January 2019. No comments were received.

      The Planning Officer approves that the local planning amendment which has been subject to a local consultation shall be finalised in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 2 of the regulations on the handling of matters by the Planning and Building Officer of Hafnarfjörður.

    • 1901034 – Einhella 11, query regarding a zoning plan amendment to the building envelope

      Enquiry from Eignataka ehf. dated 03.01.2019 regarding the extension of the building plot at Einhellu 11, in accordance with proposals by Tvíhorfur Architects.

      On 20/12/2018, Sigurður Karl Magnússon submitted an enquiry regarding a fence 20 cm from the plot boundary with the common land. This is a simple clad fence, approximately 100 cm high, with 2.5 cm gaps between the slats. The fence is erected behind a retaining wall, giving a total height of 170 cm.

      The request is denied. The corner of the shelter wall by the visitor parking area must be removed. The shelter wall on the street to Hnoðravellir must also be lowered.
