• 2001456 – Budget of the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður and its enterprises 2021 and 2022-2024

  The increase in staff in the planning and building department was discussed.

  The Director of the Environment and Planning Department is tasked with drawing up an annex in consultation with the Director of the Finance Department.

• 2103133 – Town Centre, Detailed Plan Area 1

  Further work on the zoning plan for Plot 1 was presented.

• 2106230 – 26-30 Strandgata, change to the detailed plan

  220 Fjörður applied on 10 June 2021 to amend the existing detailed plan. A proposal for a change to the detailed plan for the site at 26-30 Strandgata is presented. The change involves an increased building mass on the site, along with a mixed-use function including retail, service and hotel operations. Drawings are presented which provide a more detailed description of the development within the site.

  The Planning and Building Committee agrees to advertise the current proposal for a revised detailed plan and refers it to the Town Council for approval.

• 2106016 – Drangsskarð 11, building permit

  On 1 June, Rentur starfsemi ehf. submitted an application for a building permit and requested an increase in the number of flats from six to seven on the plot at Drangsskarð 11.

  The Planning and Building Committee approves the increase in the number of dwellings by one on the plot at Drangsskarð 11.

• 2106091 – Bjargsskarð 1, change to the local plan

  On 4 June 2021, Smári Björnsson submitted an application for a change to the detailed plan for Skarðshlíðar 2nd Phase, affecting the plots at Bjargsskarð 1 and 2, along with Drangsskarð 2. The application requests increased building volume and a greater number of dwellings on the plots.

  The Planning and Building Committee approves the increase in the number of dwellings by one on the plot at Bjargskarð 1.

  On 4 June 2021, Smári Björnsson submitted an application for a change to the detailed plan for Skarðshlíðar 2nd Phase, affecting the plots at Bjargsskarð 1 and 2, along with Drangsskarð 2. The application requests increased building volume and a greater number of dwellings on the plots.

• 2106092 – Drangsskarð 2, amendment to the local plan

• 2104435 – 12 Hverfisgata, application to the planning officer

  On 20 April 2021, Gudmundur Már Ástþórsson submitted an application requesting a deviation from the detailed plan for the plot at 12 Hverfisgata. The application seeks either to increase the plot's utilisation ratio or to extend its size.

  The Planning and Building Committee welcomes the proposal.

• 2001086 – Hverfisgata 52b, plot extension

  The application from Óli Örn Eiríksson dated 18.12.2019 for a plot extension is being reconsidered.

  The matter is referred to the working group on the Learning Centre by the Brook for comment.

• 0809375 – Ásvellir, Haukasvæði, change to the detailed plan

  Comments from the Environmental Agency and the Hafnarfjörður Health Authority regarding changes to the Asvöller detailed plan will be discussed. Representatives from VSÓ will attend the meeting.

  The Planning and Building Committee approves the report on responses to comments on the outline planning application.

• 1907017 – Harbour area, Master plan amendment

  Draft environmental description presented, together with a soil survey. Representatives from VSÓ will attend the meeting.

• 2106248 – Selhraun South, major plan amendment

  Drafts of a report on changes to the Selhrauns Suður master plan were presented.

• 2104596 – Drangsskarð 8, zoning plan amendment

  At the planning and building officer's service meeting on 28 April 2021, the planning officer approved the local notification of a change to the detailed plan for Skarðshlíðar 2nd Phase, which affects the plot at Drangsskarð 8.
  The change involves altering the building plot. The house will be a two-storey semi-detached house instead of a two-unit dwelling of one to two storeys. There will be two parking spaces per dwelling. Otherwise, the terms remain unchanged.
  The proposal was subject to local consultation from 10 May to 10 June 2021. Comments were received.

  The Planning and Building Committee rejects the application as it stands, with reference to the planner's report.

• 2009106 – Höfðaskógur and Hvaleyrarvatn, detailed plan

  A proposal for a revised local plan for Höfðaskógur and Hvaleyrarvatn, dated 30 March 2021, was presented. It was agreed to advertise the proposal on 9 April 2021. The amendment covers two areas to the north and west of Hvaleyrarvatn. The aim of the amendment is, among other things, to improve access to Hvaleyrarvatn and outdoor recreation facilities. Parking spaces for disabled people will be provided north of the lake with access control. The procedure will be in accordance with Article 43, paragraph 1 of the Planning Act no. 123/2010. The proposal was advertised from 16 April to 28 May 2021. A comment was received.

  The Planning and Building Council thanks you for the suggestions made in the comment. The Planning and Building Council agrees to conclude the matter in accordance with sections 41 and 42 of the Planning Act.

• 2101275 – Lyngbarð, application for a neighbourhood skip station

  On 13 January 2021, the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður requested to install a neighbourhood station at Lyngbarð. The request was approved at a processing meeting on 20 January and the proposal was subject to neighbourhood consultation from 5 May to 7 June 2021. Comments were received.

  The Planning and Building Committee agrees that a new site will be found for the location of a neighbourhood station.

• 2003034 – Grindavík Master Plan 2018-2032, amendment, request for comments

  The Municipality of Grindavík is seeking comments on the planning statement, which was approved at a meeting of the Grindavík Municipal Council on 25 May, regarding an amendment to the Grindavík 2018-2032 Master Plan. The planning statement concerns amendments to the Grindavík 2018-2032 Master Plan and a new detailed plan, which will be drawn up to define the works planned for the land at Hraun and Ísólfsskáli to improve services and access to the Geldingadalar lava fields. A change will also be made to the master plan regarding the relocation of the treatment plant at Eyjabakka in Grindavík, the route of a cable/fibre-optic link, and the development of walking and cycling paths from the residential areas in the west of Grindavík. Comments are requested by 18 June.

  The Planning and Building Committee has no objections to the aforementioned amendment to the general plan.
