Shaping the future together – a conversation about Sustainable Iceland
Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir is hosting open consultation meetings across the country on sustainable development in Iceland. The meetings will discuss the state of sustainability, key challenges, opportunities and options for progress, as work is underway to formulate Iceland's sustainable development strategy.
The first meeting in the Prime Minister's series on Sustainable Iceland will be in Akureyri this coming Monday, 17th April, at Hof, starting at 16:00. The next meeting will be at Salnum in Kópavogur on 18 April at 16:00, followed by visits to Borgarnes on 24 April, Selfoss on 25 April, Höfn in Hornafjörður and Egilstöðum on 26 April, and Ísafjörður on 27 April. A special online meeting for the whole country will be held on 4 May at 14:00.
The meeting in the Hall starts at 4 p.m. and lasts until 5:30 p.m.
The chair is Ásdís Kristjánsdóttir, Mayor of Kópavogur.

The group will then be divided into discussion tables of 6-8 people per table, with a discussion leader and a secretary at each table. The groups will then be given several key questions to discuss, such as how we can make Iceland more sustainable.
