Proposal for a new local plan for Snókalönd, Bláfjallavegur, in accordance with section 1 of Article 41 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010

The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved at its meeting on 07.01.2022 to advertise a proposal for a new detailed plan for Snókalönd by Bláfjallavegur. The plan is bounded by an old lava quarry, which is today defined as a recreational and tourist area in the 2013-2025 Master Plan for Hafnarfjörður.

The outline planning proposal provides for a single plot, which includes access, car parks and a building plot for structures related to the Northern Lights.

The zoning plan proposal, together with its report, will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre at Strandgata 6 and at the Department of Environment and Planning at Norðurhæð 2 from 14.12.2022 – 25.01.2023. The data can also be viewed below.
