Zoning amendment
The Hafnarfjörður Town Council, at its meeting on 17 August, approved the advertisement of an amendment to the detailed plan in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act.
The plan for the site is to demolish the existing houses and replace them with three houses containing 15 flats of various sizes. At the southern and northern ends of the plot are two-storey detached houses, while in the centre there will be a two-to-three-storey, L-shaped block of flats. There are plans for 17 parking spaces in a garage and 4 on the plot.
The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhellu 2, from 26.08.
Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the proposal. They should be sent to the email address skipulag@hafnarfjordur.is no later than 07.10.2022 or in writing to customer services:
