Hafnarfjörður Library receives a grant from the Library Fund
The Minister of Culture and Commerce has allocated 20 million krónur from the Library Fund. The fund received 30 applications this time, with requests totalling just over 73 million. Seven projects were awarded a grant this time, one of which is from the Hafnarfjörður Library.

The Minister of Culture and Commerce has allocated 20 million krónur from the Library Fund. The fund received 30 applications this time, with requests totalling just over 73 million. Seven projects were awarded a grant this time, one of which comes from Hafnarfjörður Library. The project 'Meetups for Men', which is based on the same concept as 'Anna Invites', which is aimed at women, is one of these projects.
Special meet-ups for men at Hafnarfjörður Library
The idea behind the project from the Hafnarfjörður Library is monthly meetings for men where you can learn, develop new skills and gain new knowledge at your own pace, based on your own qualities and strengths, and possibly connect with other men who share similar interests and hobbies. The meet-ups will also offer opportunities to try out a new craft, develop new skills, gain new knowledge and form friendships.
