A sunny summer festival in Víðistaðatún
The weather was kind to the young festival-goers when the summer holiday club's summer festival was held in Víðistaðatún in fine weather this week. Next week is the last week that all sites, i.e. the after-school clubs at all primary schools, are open. From 3rd July to 21st July and from 9th to 21st August, two central courses will be offered.
Fun with jumping, games and sailing
The weather was kind to the young festival-goers when the summer festival for Hafnarfjörður's summer day camp was held in Víðistaðatún in glorious weather this week. Children aged 7-9, who attended the summer club run by the leisure centres, were gathered there with their supervisors and staff from the Hafnarfjörður Work School to enjoy jumping, games and boating. The children played in boats on the pond, took part in various games and enjoyed grilled sausages. The Vinnuskóli Hafnarfjarðar arts group came and entertained the children with games, singing and antics. The festival was a great success in the paradise of Víðistaðatún.
Next week is the last week that all sites, i.e. the after-school clubs of all the primary schools, are open. From 3rd July to 21st July, two central courses will be offered. This will be followed by a short summer break, after which two central courses will be offered again from 9th to 21st August for children aged 7-9.
