On Saturday, 12th August, the annual Pride Parade of Pride Month will take place, and the City of Hafnarfjörður will take part in the parade this year. The event is organised by the Queer Meet-up in Hafnarfjörður and peer education from the Hafnarfjörður Summer Job Scheme, and they encourage residents, staff of the City of Hafnarfjörður, and all interested parties to turn out in large numbers and take part in the walk under the banner of the City of Hafnarfjörður.

The walk will set off from the Technical College on Skólavörðuholt at 2 p.m., but for those wishing to walk with the Hafnarfjörður group, the meeting point is at 12:30 p.m. A limited supply of flags and decorations will be available on site, so it's first come, first served!
