Saturday, 30 September, 1 pm - 3 pm will the artist Iris Hadda lead a creative art workshop for families in Spanish at Hafnarborg. In the workshop, children and adults will be invited to create three-dimensional landscape works from a variety of materials in connection with the exhibition. A landscape for the chosen. Participants also get the opportunity to look at the museum's exhibitions in order to find ideas for their own artistic creation.

Iris Hadda She is an Icelandic visual artist who has lived in Spain for most of her life. She is an art historian and a specialist in creative writing. She has been based in Iceland since 2020 and is currently studying photography at the School of Photography, alongside working for the Reykjavík Art Museum. Among the projects Íris Hadda has undertaken recently is a photographic documentation of the situation of refugees in Iceland.

In My Language is a programme of events that aims to increase access to Hafnarborg for people from diverse backgrounds by welcoming visitors in different languages. The event is a collaboration between Hafnarborg and the charity Get Together, which supports refugees and asylum seekers in Hafnarfjörður. The project is supported by the museum fund.
