The painting is a friend and the subject is women.
Guja Nóa paints women in their daily lives. She is preoccupied with joy and wants to convey it through her paintings.
Guju Nóa's work consists of ideas about friends who brighten up the grey of everyday life. Happiness can be found in every moment if you look closely, but sometimes you have to dig beneath the surface to find life's joys.
There will be a special exhibition opening on Thursday, 12th October from 18:00-20:00, and all are welcome!
Guja Nóa has always been involved in visual art in one form or another, both as a creator and an admirer. Since 2018, she has taken a firmer hold of her art, focusing almost entirely on the muse, creation and primal force.
She previously ran her own clothes shops and dressed the people of Akureyri and the surrounding areas.
Perhaps it's the biggest sculpture?
