Hot chocolate and refreshments after the walk
The Cancer Society of the Capital Area and the Hafnarfjörður Forestry Association are hosting a forest walk on the woodland trails of the Hafnarfjörður Forestry Association on Tuesday, 24th October at 19:30. We will gather at the Þöll nursery on Kaldársel road, and from there we will walk through the woodland of the Hafnarfjörður Forestry Society. At the start of the walk, Magnús Gunnarsson will give a speech, and afterwards, forester Steinar Björgvinsson will guide us through the forest. The woodland walk is expected to take about an hour and afterwards, hot chocolate and refreshments will be served at the Þöll nursery. The Cancer Society of the Capital Region and the Hafnarfjörður Forestry Association encourage as many people as possible to take part in the evening walk through the forest. Walkers are asked to be well-equipped and to bring a torch, as it will be getting dark.
