The Hafnarfjörður Brass Band is holding its annual autumn concert in Víðistaðakirkja on Saturday, 2nd December at 2 p.m.

The programme consists of music from various sources. Music originating from Norway will feature prominently. This includes swing-infused folk music, children's music from the 1970s, and tropical sambas. Music from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein and a theme by Jóhann Jóhannsson from the film The Theory of Everything will also be played. Mickey Mouse will also be in the area, along with the villains from several Disney films.

The conductor of the Hafnarfjörður Brass Band is Rúnar Óskarsson.

The general admission price is 2000 krónur, but entry is free for those aged 16 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the brass band associations until the day of the concert, and at the entrance on the day. Please note that there will be no card machine at the entrance.
