Awards for the best Christmas decorations
On Sunday, 17th December, awards were presented for the best-decorated houses and best-decorated businesses in Hafnarfjörður on Thorsplani.
Awards presented – these were deemed the most successful decorations this year.
Awards were given for the best-decorated houses and best-decorated businesses in Hafnarfjörður in the run-up to Christmas 2023. In early December, residents of Hafnarfjörður and others were encouraged to put on their big Christmas glasses and submit a nomination for the houses, businesses and streets in the town that stand out for their Christmas decorations this year. The Culture and Tourism Committee announced the winners, and the residents and business owners received the awards at Thorsplani on Sunday, 17 December. All received a beautiful Christmas decoration from the flower shop, Burknar.
