Saturday, 10 February at 2 pm will Thor Sigurthorsson, the artist, will be welcoming visitors and chatting about the exhibition. Reference, where new works by the artist can be seen.

It could be said that certain recurring themes can be found in Thór's works – to refer – leaving it to the viewer to see where it leads them. The artist often works with found or everyday objects, placing them in a new context to create unexpected connections across time and space. The material contains remnants of time and evokes reflections on repetition, the cycle, and the passage of time. Our understanding of everyday objects is thus turned on its head, revealing to us subtle yet sensitive visual poems, where experience, perception and processing refer to a transient world on the borderline between the articulate and the inarticulate.
