Saturday, 20th April at 2 p.m. A guided tour of the exhibition will be offered in Polish. ornament along with the goldsmith Marta Staworowska. Marta is one of the participants in the exhibition, which features pieces by a group of nine goldsmiths, jewellery designers and artists who shed light on jewellery in our contemporary world.
In the exhibition, alongside Marta, the following also participate: Anna María Pitt, Arna Gná, Ágústa Arnardóttir, James Merry, Hildur Ýr Jónsdóttir, Helga Mogensen, Katla Karlsdóttir and Orr. The exhibition is staged in connection with Design March 2024. The curator is Brynhildur Pálsdóttir.
Marta Staworowska (b. 1985) is a qualified landscape architect, art historian and goldsmith. Before moving to Iceland six years ago, she worked for the Polish army and was stationed in Afghanistan. She graduated earlier this year as a goldsmith from the Technical College and works at Aurum making jewellery.
In My Language is a programme of events aimed at increasing access to Hafnarborg for people from diverse backgrounds by welcoming visitors in different languages. The project is supported by the Museum Fund.

Marta is one of the participants in the exhibition, which features works by a group of nine goldsmiths, jewellers and artists specialising in goldsmithing. The exhibition reflects the diverse approaches, techniques and contemporary themes of jewellery-making in Iceland.
Alongside Marty, the participants are Anna María Pitt, Arna Gná, Ágústa Arnardóttir, James Merry, Hildur Ýr Jónsdóttir, Helga Mogensen, Katla Karlsdóttir and Orr. The curator of the exhibition, which is part of the Design March 2024 programme, is Brynhildur Pálsdóttir.
