The health town of Hafnarfjörður advertised for teams to take part in a rowing competition in the harbour on Seamen's Day, Sunday, 2nd June. There has been a tradition for over 70 years of holding a sculling competition on this day, and workplaces, groups of friends, neighbours, sports teams and all interested parties were encouraged to get together and take part in the race. Each team consists of six rowers and one skipper.
The rowing race starts at 13:00 and we encourage everyone to watch from the harbour!
