Wednesday, 10th July at 8 p.m. will Olöf Bjarnadóttir, a curator, will lead a walk where selected landmarks in Hafnarfjörður will be examined. As in any other townscape, there are buildings that characterise the town and stand out for various reasons. During the walk, several houses that could be classified as landmarks in Hafnarfjörður will be examined in more detail, focusing on their history and distinctive features.

The walk will depart from Hafnarborg.

The City of Hafnarfjörður is offering cultural and health walks every Wednesday evening this summer. Most of the walks take about an hour and start at 8 p.m., unless otherwise stated. The Cultural and Health Walks are a joint project by Hafnarborg, the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum, the Hafnarfjörður Library and Healthy Hafnarfjörður. Participation is free and everyone is welcome.
