A health and encouragement initiative for all the nation's people

Sins is a health and motivational initiative that appeals to all the nation's people. The aim of Sins is encouraging the public to be more active in their daily lives, using swimming as one way to do so. Last year, schools and swimming clubs were also particularly encouraged to take part, and this will be the case again this year.

Sins is part of European Sports Week, which aims to promote sport and physical activity across Europe and thus counteract the growing sedentary lifestyle of the general public. Swimming is for everyone, regardless of age, background or physical condition, and is an ideal form of exercise that strengthens the cardiovascular system, lungs and muscles. It is also a great and enjoyable pastime that the whole family can do together.
