Let's make the fields green

Gorgeous green spaces, neighbourhood gardens, footpaths and wildlife will be presented at a meeting in the lecture hall of Hraunvallar School, on Monday, 31 March 2025 at 17:00. The aim is Grænkun Valla. Residents will then get to see the ideas on the table to make the neighbourhood even better.

The landscape architects have come up with some great ideas. The untouched lava fields are allowed to shine, while in between there are plans for footpaths, sledge runs, and slides, as well as areas where you can lie down in a large hammock with a book in hand. Yes, it's better seen than described.
