Revised master plan for Hrauns Vestur

A draft proposal for the revised master plan for Hraunsvestur and an environmental assessment report will be presented at a meeting on Tuesday, 8th April, between 16:00 and 17:30 at Norðurhellu 2 in Hafnarfjörður.

This concerns a change of land use in the master plan for the Hraun West planning area, from an activity, retail and service, and community service area to a central area. This is intended to change the use of the entire area from a commercial zone to a mixed-use development.

• When? 8th April, 4pm–5:30pm
• Purpose: To present a working draft proposal for the revised master plan for Hrauns Vestur and the environmental assessment report.

The formal consultation period is from 3 to 30 April 2025, and the documents can be accessed on the planning portal website (skipulagsgatt.is). Comments or suggestions should be submitted electronically via the planning portal.
